THE PROBLEM
Our client , an Insurance Provider in the east coast, was relying on paperwork and manual process for processing claims. With an increase in their customer base, it became very difficult to handle the process manually. Data Extraction , refining and cleaning duplicate data took a lot of time and effort. They needed help from someone who can accelerate this process and guide them.
After six months of research the company contacted Pursuit with an aim to get a solution and streamline their claim process. The Pursuit team developed a strategy together with the internal team. The text claims were evaluated for converting into data which was not an easy task. The client was extremely particular about accuracy and could not afford any loss in data. We implemented machine learning so that it can accommodate any type of documents with a high degree of accuracy. Using RPA, eliminated the manual data entry for the initial report that was made following a loss, theft, or damage of an insured asset by the insurance provider, hence new insurance was now completed 80% faster.
