THE PROBLEM
Our Client, a financial company on the east coast, was receiving a lot of complaints from it’s customers regarding the failure of the transactions. This was leading to reduction in their customer base. They finally decided to test their customer portal thoroughly to avoid any transactional errors. But it was not possible to identify minute bugs manually.
An Automated solution was recommended to ensure the customer portal was tested properly to avoid any future transaction failure. The Pursuit team along with the business users defined steps which were needed to perform. . The Client also defined various case scenarios in excel. The RPA bot automated the cases pre and post testing and performed action as mentioned and defined. Web actions are used by RPA bot to automate browsers on UI and it performs the functionality testing step by step like login as customer, filling data, generating order etc. , similar to a customer. The issues detected were reported and automatically logged in JIRA using REST API. The entire processed was monitored.
